It's really simple to make. Just add the tteokbokki powder to the water, bring it to a boil, add the rice cakes, and boil for 2-3 minutes. Note that the rice cakes for tteokbokki are usually wheat rice cakes, and it's recommended that you check the ingredients list to make sure they don't contain ‘alcohol’. If you want to make a soupy tteokbokki, boil it thinner, and if you want a thicker spiced tteokbokki, boil it longer.
